Peak Season Surcharge
Published 2020-08-20As an direct measure to Covid 19 the transport industry has changed by sharply reducing their capacity which means new and recurring challenges.
One of these is now a lack of capacity at the shipping lines for both equipment but mainly space on the ocean vessels on the Far East trade lanes into Europe.
As a result of the above, majority of shipping lines have, at short notice, announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) to apply as of August 20 and until further notice.
PSS is applied to all forms of equipment and cargo on the Far East line to Europe.
The cost is beyond our control and we feel compelled to reflect the same going forward as below per ETD 20 August.
